With a B.Sc degree and Post Graduate diplomas in Hospitality and Business Administration, Anil brings a special emphasis to marketing and sales. He has worked in various key positions around the world in countries that include India, Indonesia as well as Canada. He has also visited different work cultures in countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and England.

With Aaspirations' offices both in Canada and India, Anil is pivotal in interlinking and developing business for both Aaspirations' Publishing and Aaspirations' Films. He currently resides in Canada, and is responsible for overseeing the expansion of Aaspirations Publishing Inc..


Anjali Sondhi
Publisher & CEO

A B.A. in (Economics) Hons from India, with post graduate diplomas in Advertising and Public Relations as well as Business Administration, Anjali had her first line of copy published at the age of 15. On seeing her words in print, she was hooked and went on to develop hundreds of campaigns for world class brands, such as Lux, Kraft, Sunsilk, Hero Honda, and ATN Bank amongst others. She has worked with world class advertising agencies such as J. Walter Thompson, and Bozell, both in India and Indonesia.

In 2003, she immigrated to Canada and discovered like many others before her that without Canadian experience she couldn’t get a job and without a job she couldn’t get Canadian experience. In 2004, she began ghostwriting through Elance. One of the books she wrote was a runaway success for her client. Her daughters kept urging her to give up ghostwriting and actually move to publishing. And when her younger daughter, Anahita, wrote her story, ‘The Dog who Came from India,’ she motivated her mother to take the first steps towards achieving her dream. Today Anjali is the creative brain behind Aaspirations Publishing and its mission and vision. Anjali loves to read books on business and her favorite must read magazine is INC.

Anjali divides her time between Toronto and New Delhi, India where a new Aaspirations Publishing office will be opening shortly. She lives in Canada with her husband, two daughters and her golden lab.


Nikita Sondhi
Business Head India

Nikita loves the Indian culture, psyche and people. Even though she has lived in the West for a major part of her life, she has also spent time in Indonesia and India where she was born. Her unique perspective of what works comes from an in depth understanding of both the cultures and different people who are the same underneath.

Nikita’s job responsibilities include developing new business that will succeed primarily in India. She brings her sense of Canadian organization and development of systems to work on developing new products for India.


Pranab Bera
Head of Production

With over 9 years of experience in graphic designing, Pranab Bera knows all there is to know about Photoshop, Coraldraw, Illustrator, Freehand, In-design, Quark-Express, Pagemaker, MS-office and pre-flight inspections. Successfully leading a team of graphic designers and copywriters he is responsible for developing innovative designs and creative content for Aaspirations Publishing Inc. His passion is creating graphic content, interactive design and promotional material for marketing Aaspirations' groundbreaking books.

Sheryl Bennett-Wilson
Speaker’s Bureau Consultant

Sheryl has worked with Margaret Trudeau, Laurier LaPierre, Maude Barlow and Jack Donohue.

During her twenty years in television and radio production in the nation’s capital, Ottawa, Sheryl has also interviewed many musicians including Chris DeBurgh, Joan Baez and Alan Parsons.

For the past twelve years she has promoted businesses, authors, entertainers and local charities through her own Public Relations and Media company.  Sheryl will now promote Aaspirations Publishing’s authors and illustrators.


Zoë Dissell
Creative Book Designer

A BA Honours degree in Graphic Design from South Africa’s top university, and eight years of experience working at publishers in London, including Carlton Books; Zoë knew her career had to be in design when she was awarded Designer of the Year while at art school. Years later she gets that same excitement and pride every time she sees one of her books on a shelf.

Zoë handles authors, editors, photographers, and illustrators to create beautiful books that are a joy to read. She designs covers and inside spreads and is excellent at using Photoshop and InDesign to bring all the elements of a book harmoniously together on paper.

She spends her weekends exploring the Canadian countryside with her husband and two-year-old daughter.
